Franco, Rome, Italy; M. Hayes-Gehrke, A. Bartek, T. Basile, B. Bent, E. Garcia, R. Greenebaum, S. L. Min, M. Maroulis, and N. Oliver, Department of Astronomy, University of Maryland; and P. Pravec, Ondrejov Observatory, report that photometric observations obtained during Oct. 20-Dec. 5 reveal that the minor planet (3905) is a synchronous binary system with a period of 50.8 hr (error < 0.1 hr). A combined rotation-plus-eclipse lightcurve has a full amplitude of 1.22 mag, and observed mutual events indicate a lower limit on the secondary-to-primary mean-diameter ratio of 0.77.
