Not even pits a small Björk, with his/her particular publication bulimia, in the last two years Mark Parente has testified in many ways the big done jump to do to his/her art: two twin disks, a based show on an immense file of reading of forgotten writers and, finally, a double DVD to testify a particularly creative period.

And' September 28 th 2005 and Mark Parente on the occasion of the exit of the first one of the two cd that you/they go to compose Snow Ridens it decides to give a sort of tour to his/her city along one day, and to perform in different unusual location in Florence.
I Mark Relative it doesn't use only his/her voice as expression, but it seeks the poetry in all the things as the noise of a book that wisely shaken or drummed with the fingers it transmits vibrations that make music.
This dvd doesn't pick up only its city tour, but also the recorded acoustic performance to the radio and some videoclips as "People in construction", Snow Ridens", "Hit of mirror" and "Spinning landscapes" in the unusual version live visual, or the music accompanied by computerized images.
In short thanks to this dvd the fanses of Mark Parente can appreciate and to preserve live its performanceses and to be bewitched once more from its poetic deeds.

Since when I saw him/it for the first time on a stage I frame Mark Parente as a Short Maltese of the Italian music: adventurous in to bathe in a musical experimentation that touches gracefully more directions without however to lose that taste some ancient making him/it incredibly modern, the texts among the idealism without rhetoric and the romantic one without compromises.
His/her last job "Snow (ridens) 1" continuous on this line, and after a beautiful po' of listening I affirm without problems that it also overcomes that masterpiece that had been "Tras (relative)", there are incredibly convincing episodes since the mischievous beginning of "Wake up" able to insinuate himself/herself/themselves dancing on the notes of piano in the mind delighting her/it.
